Cane Mill is in Tonga... July — September, 2009 The cane mill has arrived in Tonga. It arrived safe and sound in June. The Lord gave favor with the government officials and the mill was allowed into the country virtually duty free. Brother Bob Buster sends thanks to all who made the mill available for use there in the South Pacific Island country of Tonga.
Exciting News About MTM... MTM is now working in conjunction with Missionary Baptist Seminary in Little Rock, Arkansas. Learn more about it at the website www.missionarytrainingministry.com. The first classes were conducted in October of this year on campus at the Missionary Baptist Seminary of Little Rock. There were 20 students enrolled. Classes were well presented and well received. Students and instructors alike agreed that the information presented was on target to equip servants of the Lord for the work He has called them to do. Module 2 will be in February at Faith Baptist Church in North Little Rock and Module 3 will be in April on the campus of the Missionary Baptist Seminary again. Visit the website for details and to enroll.
Belize, Central America..... Dr. Joe Morell and I visited Belize, Central America July 21-29. Brother Nicky Barnett and his wife Beverly are doing a good work for the LORD there. Brother Barnett invited us to teach for a week in the school and speak in the Victory Baptist Church in Santa Cruz (near Punta Gorda). The trip, teaching and fellowship were a great blessing. Pray for and support Brother and Sister Barnett in the work. Their sending church is El Dorado Missionary Baptist Church in El Dorado, Arkansas. You are encouraged to contact them for details of specific needs. Help is needed to construct Sunday School space and purchase the property where the Barnett's are living. A shipping container with equipment, books and Bibles is scheduled to arrive October 29.
Bible Institute Classes to Resume.... Brother Joe Morrell and I visited a group of Russian speaking immigrants in North Port, Florida in August. We went at the invitation of Bro. John Pinkevich. He is a friend of Pastor Pavel Voronenko in Helsinki, Finland (one of our Bible Institute Graduates of June 2009). After a visit to Helsinki, Brother John contacted Bro. Morrell requesting that institute classes be conducted at his home church in North Port. He is a member of a sound Baptist church. His pastor and the church have invited us to begin classes in January.
There is a community of some 20,000 Russian speaking people in the North Port area. These people are from various countries where Russian is the primary language.
Pray for us as we pray, plan and prepare to teach another class of students the four year institute curriculum in yet another country. Riga was our first Russian speaking class, followed by Helsinki. This time we will be in America, of all places, teaching yet another group of Russian speaking students.
Thank you for your prayers and support! Edward and Tricia (Brown
