PRAYER LETTER - APRIL 2010

My dear Brothers and Sisters, who continue to be a great enduring blessing to us personally and to our ministries; it is your faithfulness that keeps us faithful and it is your prayers that keeps us afloat and on our knees for you as well. May God continue to use "you and us" for the salvation of souls and for His glory and honor.

A GLORIOUS RESURRECTION DAY CELEBRATION!

It most certainly has been a very wet winter here in Arizona, but these God-sent "showers of  blessings" are now producing Spring-time buds of joy! We celebrated Resurrection Sunday with special music from the choir, great attendance and several visitors—in all we had 4 precious souls make professions of faith,. After the services we enjoyed a great afternoon of fellowship with a "Picnic on the Grounds".

All together we have seen 7 professions of faith in the past month! The Heavens rejoice as we do, that these will be fruitful and multiply for the glory of God. Pray with us for these who recently made professions of faith and "died to self and resurrected to new life". Praise God!

PRAYER REQUESTS:

Several of our men and women are still seeking employment; these and others are facing foreclosures on their homes. The Hispanic community is particularly vulnerable in these difficult times. As they struggle to make ends meet, the church is also struggling to make budget.

My wife Laura continues to suffer with fibromyalgia, at times in great pain. Please pray for her.

My wife and I have also purchased a smaller house, in order to take advantage of the current buyer's market and lower our housing expenses greatly. Praise God!

In recent weeks, my 2000 Ford pickup was diagnosed with water in 4 of the 8 cylinders and recently vandals took a sharp object (keyed) and put a deep gash all along the passenger side (but they didn't steal the magnetic church signs!). Last week someone also broke the windows in the truck's camper. All in all, it will cost more to repair and paint than the truck is worth. God will see us through this one too, AMEN! Can you help us "soon" with this great financial need to purchase another vehicle?

I thank my God daily that your hearts are open, wanting and willing to reach out far beyond your comfort zones to reach the great multitude of Hispanics in Arizona and across this great land of ours—"America the beautiful".

Glory to His name!
