Church Anniversary Day

In March, the Avon Valley Baptist Church celebrated its ninth anniversary. We had a wonderful day of fellowship and food that everyone seemed to really enjoy. It has certainly been a long, hard road here in Northam, but it is wonderful to be able to celebrate each milestone as it comes along. We are amazed to see where God has brought us from and excited to see where He will lead. God is so good!

Small Steps Moving Forward

The new doors are in and they are looking great! The external doors are solid, secure, and much better looking than the plywood that was covering the doorway. The internal doors have been cut down and fitted with glass. Because our building doesn't have any heat, it will make a big difference to us this winter to be able to shut the doors and keep the breeze out while still allowing those who are late to enter. What a blessing!

New Visitors

It has been a wonderful blessing and encouragement to have so many new people attending services in the past couple of months.  Altogether, we have had over fifteen new people coming, most of which have started attending regularly. With the other new families that started coming last year, our church has more than tripled in size. Although it is exciting to see God working, it is also a little scary to have so many changes come so quickly. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as the church begins to grow.
