"Joseph's 80 plus Year Old Aunt Comes To Jesus"

Pastor Joseph had the great joy of leading his 80 plus year old Aunt to Jesus. During our trip into the "bush" to take gifts to the orphans, we had the opportunity to meet her and take these photos. Sixteen others were saved during this trip as well. His aunt is of the Yacouba Tribe and lives in the region of Mahapleu in the western region of Ivory Coast where Pst. Joseph grew up. Well over 1,000 souls have come to Jesus in this region and many village churches have been established through the witness and work of Pastor Joseph and pastors training under his leadership.

You may have heard the story that Joseph's father was the head "witchdoctor" in the Yacouba region of Mahapleu and Joseph was in line to take his father's place.

Joseph came to Jesus, and in time, led his father to the Lord. The village burned their fetishes and god's and tore the witchdoctor school down. They built a church on the plot of land of the old witchdoctor's school and became a great outreach for that region. On this trip to the area, Joseph proudly remarked that there was only one "witchdoctor" remaining in the region. The others had come to Jesus or passed away. What a difference ONE decision can make!

Orphanage — Bible Institute — Church

Work on the Mondoukou Project is steadily progressing. God's Hand of Blessing is evident in every corner we turn. In "times" when America is on HER knees, God has opened the windows of Heaven and showered us with blessings beyond our possibilities. That's how we know it has to be HIS HAND of BLESSINGS and we give HIM the Glory. We fully expect to have enough of the construction project completed to have the First TWO of the Six Dormitory Units operational as well as the kitchen by the end of December. This will allow us to have a girl's unit and a boy's unit housing up to 48 children completing the first story of the dormitory. The four units remaining will cost $16,711 each to finish. Each unit will open another 24 beds for the orphans. The church, which will also serve as the Pastor's and Worker's Bible Training Center, has windows and doors installed and interior finish work is in progress. We have more than 100 pastors and workers ready to enlist in the Bible Institute. They are so excited to see how God is making provision for their ministries. Please continue to pray for and give toward the completion of this project. We are anxious to finish construction, see the children in place, and open the Bible Institute.
