Ministry Update

If we had to use one word to describe the last couple of months of ministry, it would be growth. God has blessed in recent weeks in a special way. We have seen visitors and salvations, but the growth we are speaking of is an individual growth. People are stepping up spiritually and involving themselves in service to the Lord and it has been a blessing to see. Joey teaches a discipleship class on Sunday mornings to the adults and older teens.  About ten members of that class recently finished our discipleship course and have grown in the faith.  There are four more adults that are at the halfway point and will soon finish their discipleship as well. Our teen ministry is also grow­ing. We started meeting two times each month outside of regular services for fellowship, games, and Bible teach­ing. God has saved six souls just in the last month through these activities and anticipate that God will con­tinue to use this time to reach out to teenagers in our city.

Salvation Testimony

One ministry we are focusing on right now is our young teens. God has sent us a group of about twenty that we are working with regularly. Two Fridays a month, we have an afternoon activity, refreshments, and a Bible message. Douglas and Kevin came to one of these activities about two months ago and prayed to receive Christ as Savior after the invitation. What a blessing it has been to see them rarely miss a Sunday or Wednesday since that time. They have both brought their mothers, sib­lings, and a few friends. They are pictured on the left hearing the gospel message. PLEASE pray for this family that they would be baptized and that spiritual growth would soon follow. We believe God has great plans!

Family Update

Our children are doing fine and growing. Elena is grow­ing. Noah is doing just fine at being a big brother to his sisters and Olivia has created an entirely new language - neither English nor Spanish, but completely entertaining nonetheless.
