Just a thought...

With the news of the Uvalde school shooting, our church is taking steps to improve the security of our church members and our academy children. We have established a “security fund” for those who would desire to help cover some of the cost of the planned improvements. Thank you to those who have already contributed or have expressed an interest in helping. This will be a continuing process.
At the same time, in spite of dangers we all face, we choose not to live in fear! We will not have a bunker mentality. We will not retreat to our homes or hide from life. We will choose to enjoy the life and blessings that God has given to us. We will worship our God boldly. We will walk by faith. Pandemics, lawlessness, recession, politics – none of these things – can separate us from the love of God.
It is important to take necessary precautions to protect ourselves from danger. It is even more important to remember that safety is of the Lord…Just a thought.
